We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, age, gender, location, and wellness goals during onboarding. We also collect biometric and health-related data from AI scans you choose to perform, including facial skin analysis and body composition estimates. Additionally, we automatically collect device information, app usage data, and approximate location (with your permission) to power local community discovery features.
03 — HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Your information is used to provide and personalise the app's core features — including AI skin and body analysis, fitness and diet recommendations, virtual wardrobe styling, and matching you with nearby community members who share similar wellness goals. We also use aggregated, de-identified data to improve our AI models and overall service quality.
04 — DATA SHARING & THIRD PARTIES
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the app — including cloud hosting, push notification delivery, and payment processing partners — each bound by contractual confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of BlossomYou, our users, or the public.
05 — LOCATION & COMMUNITY DATA
If you enable location services, we use your approximate location to show you nearby community members with shared wellness goals. Your precise location is never shared with other users — only an approximate distance. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this will limit certain community features.
06 — DATA SECURITY
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While we take reasonable steps to secure your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07 — DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

You may access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through the app's settings, or by contacting us directly. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to data portability, the right to object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
09 — CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
